» Blackbird

Description
One of the best known birds in Great Britain is the distinctive blackbird with a bright yellow beak. Well less know of the female blackbirds with brown body with spots and streaks on their breasts. The blackbird has a song that is recognizable throughtout the UK.
Where to find them
Found all across the UK from urban garden to the countryside.
When to see them
You can see the Blackbird all year round.

» Blue Tits

Description
There beautiful colours in blue, yellows and white make the Blue Tit one of the most attractive garden birds in the UK. Thankfully for us, they are a resident garden bird and will feed with homemade peanut feeders and breed in homemade bird houses and nest boxes. They form flocks in the winter time and feed with up 5 Blue Tits at any one time in garden bird tables.
Where to find them
Blue Tits are found in woodland areas including parks and are visit gardens regularly.
When to see them
They migrate to the UK in April time, stay here until September and October in the same year before migrating south.
What do they eat

Insects, Seeds and all types of Nuts for birds

» Coal Tit

Description
Well related to the great tit, blue tit and similar, the Coal Tit isn't as colourful as its relatives. Featuring a gray back, black cap, and white patch at the back of its neck. A regular visitor to garden peanut feeders, they will take and store food for eating later.

All across the UK from woodland, parks and gardens.
When to see them
You can see the Coal Tit all year round.

Description
The Goldcrest is the UK's smallest singing bird and has an incredible top body with a distinctive orange crown stripe.
Where to find them
Found in trees and bushes, and most importantly in conifers. They also live in suburban parks and large gardens.
When to see them
You can find the Goldcrust all year round.

» House Martin

Description
The House Martin is a small bird featuring a shiney blue and black upper parts with white including the belly. House Martins spend an enormous amount of there time praying for food well air bourne. Unlike many birds feeding on the ground and in woodland areas, House Martins catch flying insects to feed.
Where to find them
Found all over the UK excluding the Scottish Highlands.
When to see them
They migrate to the UK in April time, stay here until September and October in the same year before migrating south.

» House Sparrow

Description
Have you have been disturb by birds in the more, noisy and just plain rude, well this is most likely the guys that cause the problems. The House Sparrow is probably the most common bird in the world feeding on human rubbish and scraps. However, the House Sparrow is declining in numbers and in danger of becoming hard to find in our gardens.
Where to find them
Found all over the UK excluding the Scottish Highlands. Where there's man, there will be House Sparrows. They have evolved to become quit dependent on our us and our need to feed them.
When to see them
You can spot these guys all year round.

» Robin

Description
Probably the UK's best loved bird and associated with Christmas with there bright red breast and brown backs, but can be seen all year round. They've had songs about them, books and children's stories. If you plan to buy a nest box for Robins, just insure its a fair distance from street lights as they like to sing all night long. Robins are cute and great to look at but they are no softies as they will drive any unwanted intruders in there territory.

All across the United Kingdom, in parks, and gardens.
When to see them
Thankfully, you can spot Robins all year round not just at Christmas.

» Tree Sparrow

Description
The Tree Sparrow is one of the most commonly seen garden birds in Great Britain. The features a deep red brown head and nap and white cheeks with black patches. Unlike House Sparrows, Tree Sparrows live in woodland areas including trees and bushes and stay clear of urban areas, but can visit your garden.
Where to find them
They can be found all across England but not in Cornwall and some areas of Devon. Tree Sparrows can not be found in Wales and northern Scotland. But you may spot one or two every so often.
When to see them
They can be spotted all year round.
